Here at the London Housing Registry, we are committed to helping our clients find and maintain permanent housing in the private market. We also believe that it is our client’s right to choose the location and type of housing they receive.
Therefore, we offer workshops that help our clients find and maintain affordable housing as well as provide them with important information needed to build successful relationships with their landlord.
The topics of our workshops include:
- Housing Related Legislation
- Housing Search and Preparation
- Tenant’s Responsibilities
- Landlord’s Responsibilities
- Fire Safety
- Accessing Community Services and Programs
By helping our client’s quickly find housing and by providing the right level of support, we believe they will successfully be able to live independently in their new home.
The London Housing Registry secured funding to conduct Educational Housing Workshop for the Thames Valledy District School Board secondary schools from August 2016 to August 2017. The informative workshop will give secondary school students tools that they can use once they decided to pursue independent living by getting their own place and rent in the private rental housing.
