National Volunteer Week

April 12 – 18 2015

A volunteer action is like a stone thrown in a lake: its effect has a direct impact. At the same time, like ripples, volunteer efforts reach-out far and wide to improve communities. Undeniably, volunteers rock! Celebrate Canada’s volunteers this National Volunteer Week.

Executive Director’s Message

April 12-18 is Volunteer week and the London Housing Registry would like to acknowledge all the wonderful volunteers that have helped the organization prosper over the years. The volunteers help the heart at the LHR keep beating and grow stronger each and every day while assisting those in housing crisis in our community.

By developing and enhancing the skills they have gained through education and experience along life’s path, they can now pass it along to those in need. Without their dedication and willingness to engage with people who have nowhere else to turn, many of your fellow friends would be lost without their help. I applaud all the volunteers past and present who have given their time willingly to help those in crisis and continue to do so will little in return but a thank you from my humble but grateful heart.
